HG Olympics – Survival Regulations

General

1.1 The games will be played in two phases, the group phase and knockout stage. Number of groups and groups order depends on number of registrated teams.
1.2 The order in the table will be determined by: the number of points, the balance of goals, goals scored.
1.3 A Team can have from four to six players. (Eight with transfers)
1.4 One player can be only registered to one team.

Playing matches

2.1 The matches will be played in “best of 3” format in group stage(to two sets won) and “best of 5” (to three sets won) in knockout stage.
2.2 Each team starts every set with 4 players on pitch.
2.3 When one team scores 5 goals, it loses one player from the pitch. (every 5 goals scored, so 5 and 10)
2.4 One team can lose maximum 2 players in one set.
2.5 When a team scores 5/10 goals, it’s team captain’s responsibility to pause the game and send one player to spectators.
2.6 The obligatory pause after 5/10 goals also counts to pause limit per one set. (So if the team uses 2 pauses before scoring 10 goals, it can’t use it in different case then scoring 10 goals. – The exception here is when one of the players gets disconnected)
2.7 An allowed ball – Normal 01 or other ball by agreement of both sides. (except fire ball)
2.8 The length of one set is 8 minutes.
2.9 In case of a draw, we play with overtime.
2.10 The team captains themselves arrange the matches on the indicated date (Final and 3rd place match are an exception here)
2.11 If you have any problems when arranging matches (e.g. no response for a long time), please inform the administrator.
2.12 Recorded matches should be sent to the discord.
2.13 If we do not receive the recording of a match, we may consider that the match did not take place.
2.14 Matches are played at neutral host or with the consent of both sides on home and away host or one of the teams host.
2.15 The delay for the scheduled match is up to 20 minutes, after 20 minutes the team that is waiting for the opponents may apply for a w/o.
2.16 If the team cannot appear at the pre-arranged match, the rescheduling depends only on the good will of the opponents.
2.17 Competition verification penalty as a walkover means verification of the match result at 0:3 to the disadvantage of the penalized club.
2.18 Players of the opposing teams are not obliged to play on the host of the opposing team if the ping of one of the players is over 80 and it’s clearly host fault.
2.19 A presence or absence on a match has to be confirmed minimum 8 hours before the planned game.

Course of matches

3.1 If, after the match has started, it is clearly evident that a player is afk, then the match shall be restarted.
3.2 Starting a match (it is determined by the first several seconds of the game) is tantamount to consent to play it on a given server. Then only the good will of the other team depends on whether they will agree to your request to interrupt / change the server. If it does not agree, the match must be continued.
3.3 It is of course possible for the opposing team to agree to play the rest of the game on another date.
3.4 We can pause only during a break in the game (goal). Each team has 3 pauses per set.
3.5 The maximum length of the pause is undefined, but if the opponents clearly extend it, the captain of the other team may request that the pause be turned off (approximately 5 minutes).
3.6 We only resume the game when both teams are ready.
3.7 Team captain announces when it’s team is ready.
3.8 During the match, we do not write in the chat, but after during the pauses and before the start of the game, you can exchange a few words.

Rest

4.1 The most important person in the club is the captain and he should decide about all decisions (e.g. whether his team agrees to play on the given server).
4.2 Any attempt to cheat once detected will be severely punished.
4.3 In the event of a change of “nickname” compared to previous games organized by HGL, the player who changed the “nickname” or his team captain is obliged to inform the organizers of this change. In the absence of such information, both the player and his captain may be penalized.
4.4 The forbidden actions are the same in this tournament as they are in the 3v3 League (points 5.x of the 3v3 league regulations).
4.5 Ignorance of the regulations does not exempt from obeying them.
4.6 We reserve the right to change the regulations at any time during the tournament.
4.7 The final vote in any situation will be made by HGL administrators.
4.8  A team can make two transfers during the tournament. Transfers are regulated by the same rules as 3v3 League Transfers (see League Regulations).
